Proverb Blog
A man comes from the dust and in the dust he will end - and in the meantime it is good to drink a sip of vodka
This is a really good proverb in my opinion. The meaning of the proverb is that you are born and you die, so you might as well have fun when you are living. This is a very good meaning. You are born and you will eventually die no matter what you do so have some fun. So with the fact that you are going to die in your mind you should have fun. You can’t live in fear of dying. You have to learn to embrace death as a friend not an enemy and learn to live with it. One good example of people who live by this proverb is extreme athletes. They constantly risk their own lives by doing what they do but they do it anyway. They have accepted death and choose to have fun while they are living. Even though I don't agree with the extreme athletics that these people do I feel like they have the right idea in life. The idea that you need to have fun. All in all I feel like the proverb that I choose really signifies this point and that is why I choose it.
