P=Princeton

Information from: http://www.princeton.edu/main/about/

I would want to attend based on:
      1. Reputation: Princeton is the fourth-oldest college in the United States and is known for its academic excellence. Princeton was established in 1746 and is a current "Ivy League" school. At Princeton you will receive a superb education and be prepared for the workforce.

     2. History: Princeton offers an awesome selection of classes but the class that I would be most interested in would be history. Princeton offers a nice selection of history classes that include both European and American history. Both are widely known for being excellent classes.

    3. Housing: Princeton offers a wide variety of housing opportunities. About 70% of the undergraduate population lives on campus and many different living environments are offered. Both dormitories and unfurnished apartments are offered for freshmen and sophomores. And individual dorms are offered for juniors and seniors.

   4. Dinning: There is a wide variety of dinning opportunities for students of Princeton. There are many residential places to eat on campus. Juniors and seniors can take meals at the colleges, eating clubs, student food cooperatives, the Center for Jewish Life and other locations. Graduate students gather for meals in the Graduate College, or with their families in apartments.

 5. Athletics: Princeton offers many Varsity sports. One of these sports is men's cross country. This is the sport that I would be most interested in, since I run cross country. They also have a track and field team that I would also like to be on. There cross country is half decent and it would be an honor to run for them.

I would be hesitant because of:

   1. Price: Princeton is a rather expensive college with its total expenses being: Tuition: $37,000, room charge: $6,596, board rate: $5,473, and the estimated miscellaneous expenses: $3,601. That is kind of a lot of money and I don't know if I would want to pay that much money to go to Princeton.

   2. Location: Princeton is located in Princeton, New Jersey. And to tell you the truth I don't know if I would want to go to college there. I don't have a very large spot in my heart for New Jersey and if I am going to spend that much money for college I would rather go somewhere like UVM, or Boston College.

  3. Size: In 2009-2010 the size of Princeton was: student enrollment: 7,494 totals; 5,044 undergraduate; 2,450 graduates. That is a lot of students and it is a fairly big campus and I don't know whether I would like that or not.
